Do you want to have fun, make friends and learn new skills? Special Olympics is for you! The purpose of Special Olympics is to enrich the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through sports, the aim is to join in and have fun in an environment where everyone is valued.

There are currently three sports available in the Wairarapa, football, basketball and ten pin bowling!

10 pin bowling has already started for the year. The club meets at Masterbowl in Masterton every Wednesday afternoon at 4.45pm. Come along if you are a beginner, expert, social or competitive. Everyone is welcome!

Football is back on Sunday 29th of January at Wairarapa College ( on the turf if it is fine, or the gym if it is wet) from 2-3pm , the last Sunday of every month.

Basketball will be starting back for the year on Friday the 10th of February in the Wairarapa College Gym, 3.30-4.15pm.
